I chose the WhipSmart Love Cushion as the best for beginners, as I think the cute heart design makes it very approachable and it’s cheaper than the Liberator range. Kiki tested it out for us and found this sex pillow “really does perfectly angle your pelvis for all kinds of fun.” She really liked the overall construction, commenting that the pillow is “very sturdy, the foam doesn’t collapse under weight but it also wasn’t too hard.”  She also “love[d] the restraint element to this as well,” although she was a little disappointed that the cuffs weren’t the most comfortable and only really worked as ankle restraints due to the size.

While the Dominix Deluxe Sex Position Wedge isn’t super cheap, it’s still cheaper than the Liberator Wedge which is the most similar in terms of size and shape! Unfortunately, most quality foam sex pillows just aren’t that cheap! The Dominix Deluxe Sex Position Wedge is also one of the firmer sex pillows in the review. This does mean that it holds it’s shape very well, but our tester, Kathy, found it a little firm for her tastes. However, aside from that she thought it was “a great toy for spicing up your sex positions!” She loved the support that it added in doggy and how it allowed her to “stay in position for ages.” She also noted that the added loops make it a “good product if you want to ‘dip your toes’ into the world of BDSM,” but you will have to provide your own restraints.

I am absolutely in love with the Black Label Wedge Ramp Combo and either myself or my partner reach for one or both of this amazing sex pillows on a regular basis. Just using one under my hips makes a whole world of difference during penetrative sex! My favorite way to use the set is with the bigger ramp under the hips for more elevation and the smaller wedge to prop up my head, so I don’t feel like I’m lying upside down. Me and my boyfriend find this position works fantastic for oral for both of us, as the added pelvic height gives better access and makes it easier on the neck. I was pleasantly surprised that the pillows held together quite well and didn’t just slide off each other. It’s super fun to add in the restraints and I found them super comfy! They clip on with plastic clips but there’s also metal D-rings if you want to use your own. I also have to mention that the blindfolded included is the best I have ever come across! The Jaz was my first sex pillow and even though I tend to use the Wedge Ramp Combo more these days, I still think it’s a great pillow if you are tight on space or want a more travel-friendly option. It’s still got all the usual pros of Liberator’s sex furniture, like super soft velvety cover and a moisture-resistant liner, just in a smaller package! In my experience, the Jaz works great under the hips in missionary (or missionary adjacent) sex positions, but it wasn’t quite high enough for doggy or other styles. I can also imagine it wouldn’t be the best for those in bigger bodies.

I went for the BonBon over other toy mounts because it’s the most versatile in terms of which toys you can use it with. Our tester, Kasia, said the BonBon is “a revolutionary tool for masturbation” and also found it “comes in very handy during penetrative sex.” She found it was great for “extra support during doggy style” and “opened the door for extra creativity in the bedroom.” She loved how she could have a different experience by riding her favorite toys hands-free. The sex toy hole worked well for rabbits and dildos but it wouldn’t work for smaller toys or full-sized wands. I love a multipurpose tool and this one really delivers on that front.
