The 3 Best TENS Units for Orgasm Stimulation and BDSM

I picked the ElectraStim Flick as the overall best TENS Unit, as I think it’s just a great all-round piece of kit. I love that it comes with three different electrodes, so you have plenty to explore. Plus, the motion activated stimulation makes for a really fun way to play with a partner! The idea of being able to flick the controller to deliver e-stim spanks sounds like so much fun for a BDSM scene. Vernon tested the kit out for us and although this was his first experience with E-stim and he had some “anxiety about trying” it, he “really enjoyed my introduction to electro-play.” He enjoyed all three of the electrodes. Katie reviewed the Pebble for us and wrote that it’s “a great toy that gives you so many options in one product.”  I like that you have a lot of control with this Tens Unit, and you can control 2 channels separately or even have them interact, but that does mean it comes with more of a learning curve. Our reviewer, Katie, and her partner found that it “took a while for [them] to figure out how to get everything to work” but once they did it was a lot of fun. She found that “the electro pads and wires added a nice sensation for [her] that helped lift [her] into a euphoric state.”  I think the option of having it respond to sounds could also be a lot of fun, whether you are combining it with impact play, music or other sounds. I was less keen on the metal egg and would prefer to see a silicone design, that’s easier to keen. Katie also had some reservations about using the metal egg for anal play as suggested due to it being difficult to clean. The other feature I was less keen on is that it’s battery operated rather than rechargeable. I find battery operated sex toys less practical and less environmentally-friendly and much prefer something rechargeable. I do, however, really appreciate that E-Stim offer a lifetime guarantee, including repair or replacement, so even though it’s a bit of an investment upfront, you know you’ve got a machine you can enjoy for years!  

I tested out the Cluster Buster and both me and my partner continue to be impressed with it! The only reason it didn’t get the top spot in this review is it’s a bit more than most people will need for everyday electro-stim play. Unlike most Tens Units, which can only control a couple of electrodes at a time, the Cluster Buster can control endless numbers! Each electrode connects to a receiver (a.k.a Sultry Sub) and you can then use the power box to control the electrode wirelessly, which made it so much easier and more fun to move around while controlling the e-stim. Each receiver connects to a different channel (numbered 1-8), meaning you can have 8 different programs running for different toys or people. As the kit only came with one receiver, we didn’t get to try this out, but I think it would be a lot of fun for a group set up! For a bit of kit that can do so much, I was impressed by how easy it was set up and use. It has some really cool features, like the Shock button that temporarily increases the power. It’s great for punishing naughty subs! Both myself and my partner, were impressed by the power of stimulation and found that although we could tolerate the highest level (10), it was a bit too much. We have also been enjoying exploring the different patterns and think there’s a good range. I was a little disappointed that the kit didn’t come with any internal electrodes, but we have used it with the self-adhesive electrodes and the Mystim Flexing Flavio, and both felt fantastic. Given the price and the fact that you need to buy extra receivers and electrodes separately, I would only really recommend this for those specifically interested in controlling a lot of toys/people at once.
