6 Best Big Head Dildos

I had the absolute honor of testing out the Vixen Maverick myself and it truly does deserve the spot as the Test Winner for this review. It’s my go-to dildo in my (extensive) collection so I know that it’s well worth the price. If I ever lost it or something happened to it, I wouldn’t hesitate to get a new one. There’s something about the unique Vixskin formula that just elevates everything about this dildo. The outer layer is designed to be super squishy and elasticated and it really makes it feel incredibly close to the real deal. It’s a high quality dildo that will last you a lifetime if you take good care of it. I love that it can be thoroughly cleaned and sterilized, it can be used in a strap-on harness, and it can even be used for hands-free fun with the strong suction cup. Although, a few online reviews mention their suction cup base to be pretty unreliable. Perhaps this is often the case with the skin tone versions and not so common with the colorful designs like mine. Keep that in mind!

Now, for anyone who’s on a tight budget, I can highly recommend the Colours Pleasures 5 Inch Dildo. The Tantus Charmer is a really great option for the beginners out there who want that feeling of a bulbous head for initial penetration, but still need a soft and flexible shaft that gets slightly thinner towards the base. If you are looking for that really full feeling vaginally though, then the Tantus Charmer might be too slim for you. Our tester, Isabelle, noted that it left her “wanting a fuller feeling when using vaginally” and ended up using for anal play instead. Here, she found that “the ridges have the slight feel of anal beads, as the shaft is inserted but not as intense, and they add some subtle stimulation while the toy is inside as well. I’ve had the Tantus Charmer for a few years now and still find myself reaching for it on the regs, which is a definite win in my books!” Again, if you know you need a suction cup on your dildo, I’m sorry to tell you, you will have to look elsewhere. The Tantus Charmer is great for vaginal and anal penetration and is compatible with an o-ring harness but you won’t be able to stick it securely onto a flat surface.

The njoy Pure Wand is a premium quality metal dildo that definitely deserves its place in the sex toy Hall of Fame. The unique double-ended design allows for versatile use and is able to deliver a lot of different sensations at different levels of intensity. I believe it is great device to explore your internal erogenous zones with. If you, like me, have never really given your g-spot much attention because you weren’t super impressed with the sensation of massage, the njoy Pure Wand will definitely help you discover new realms of pleasure. She also noted that the curved body helps you target your sweet spot and thrust with surprising ease despite the extra weight. Although this dildo is versatile enough as it is, keep in mind that it is quite different from the other dildos in this review. It does not have a suction cup base for hands-free riding nor it is strap-on harness compatible. But I still think there’s a lot of pleasure to achieve with this dildo by your side.

The Vixen Randy is definitely not for the faint-hearted. He is a thick boy and you should be prepared for that. Obviously, I would only recommend a big head dildo with this kind of girth to very experienced users. As our tester, Isabelle, quickly discovered, using it requires plenty of warm-up and a lot of lube. Most important of all, patience! “It definitely creates a VERY full feeling and a sizeable stretch and I wasn’t sure if I enjoyed it at first, but adding in some clitoral stimulation was a game changer. The added pressure made everything way more sensitive. Personally, I think I would prefer if the base of the shaft was a little narrower, sort of more like a a plug shape so I could enjoy the fullness without such a stretch.” The size combined with the firmness of a single-density dildo like this, prompts me to repeat: this is only for those crave a really good stretch! If this is exactly the kind of sensation you’re looking for with your next big head dildo, The Vixen Randy will not disappoint! It is premium quality dildo, beautifully designed dildo that is well worth the price.

The Uberrime Aqua-King is just a really great dildo overall. I absolutely love the stunning design! Okay, I admit I’m a bit biased because I have a thing for the ocean… Still, if you like whimsical and fantasy-esque dildos but aren’t interested in those wildly creative shapes or tentacle-inspired designs, I highly recommend the Uberrime Aqua King! The design features are both aesthetically pleasing and functional at the same time. It has all the features I believe a good dildo should have: a suction cup base, a flared base, non-porous and body safe materials, and a physically and visually pleasing design. That said, I would definitely remind you to check the measurements (thoroughly) before purchasing it since it was a lot bigger than it looked in the pictures. Therefore, I would also only recommend it for intermediate to experienced users of thick dildos.
